Program Overview:
Managing projects in crisis can be extremely stressful and demanding. This course is designed to help project managers apply availably tools and techniques to successfully take over a project in crisis. Managers managing projects in crisis must understand why such project is having problem and the underlying symptoms and contributing factors.
Attention must be paid to challenges of problem detection, team disintegration, communication issues, loss of project control, management complexity caused by client and internal management. This training will be beneficial to all business managers who wish to reverse the fortunes of a problem project to deliver to clients’ goals and expectations.

Day 2: Manager’s Challenges in Managing Project in Crisis

- Increased demand of the assignment

Day 3: Recovery Step 1: Crisis Acknowledgement
- Define the problem for the crisis
- Perspectives from sponsors, managers, and customers
Recovery Step 2: Problem Analysis
- Review the major areas of potential problems
- Recognize potential problems associated with the
different processes
Day 4: Recovery Step 3: Corrective Action Planning
- Key steps for short term corrections
- Develop the follow-up plan for long term recovery
Rebuilding Team Dynamics
- Analyze current team dynamics that prevent
cohesiveness
- Tools and techniques that aid in rebuilding

Day 5: Recovery Step 4: Recovery Control

the recovery process
