Program overview:
In today’s competitive business environment having a unified workforce goes a long way in achieving organizational goals and objectives. Statistics have shown that although drivers are at the bottom cadre of organization’s structure they constitute a vital human resource to organization survival and growth. Corporate image of organizations often receives devastating blows due to ineffective performance of the company drivers, leading to high accident rates, high maintenance cost and delays in getting managers/staff to meetings/appointments.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- identify their (driver’s) role in the organization
- upgrade and emphasize safety consciousness on the road
- identify main parts of a vehicle and their functions to effect minor repairs

Course outline:
Day 1: Drivers and the corporate image of the organization
- The psychology of a good driver/dispatch rider
- Defensive driving techniques
- Road safety and traffic regulations

Day 2: Developing Basic Vehicle Maintenance / Check List
- Vehicle maintenance
- Routine check
- Removal, replacement & setting
- Practical demonstration of vehicle maintenance
- Managing the boss
- Developing good human relations skills on the road
Methodology
Lectures, discussions, exercises, case studies, audio-visual aids will be used to reinforce these teachings/learning methods.
