This course introduces the Participants to General Work Sites Safety Best Practices on the Field and on heavy and light Equipment.
For Whom:
This program is designed for Diesel Engine Technician, workshop supervisors, field service engineers, preventive maintenance technicians and equipment maintenance advisors. Facility managers can equally benefit from this program.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this program, participants will be able to:
- work safely in the shop and in the field;
- identify Safe and Unsafe acts;
- observe site rules, accident prevention techniques, office safety, other work area behavior;
- list and explain the different causes of workplace accident;
- explain the safety devices used in the shop;
- use the different types of shop equipment safely;
- use cleaning chemicals safely in the shop; and
- apply the best practices in environmental management.
