Program Overview:

Good corporate governance is of increasing importance globally. Its purpose is to help build the trust, transparency and accountability necessary for fostering long-term investment, financial stability and business integrity, thereby supporting stronger growth and more inclusive societies. Day 2: Achieving both organizational compliance and

effective performance

  • Effective risk governance and risk management
  • Meeting informational and audit/assurance needs

using the three lines of defense

 

 

 

Day 3: Corporate Social Responsibility

–           Role of board chairman in effective board

management

–           Role of external auditors and company secretary in

Corporate governance

Training Methodology: Lectures, discussions, exercises, case studies, audio-visual aids will be used to reinforce these teaching/learning methods.
